I am a senior Technologist who mainly carries out research support activities in the field of Bioinformatics aimed at data analysis and management.
My scientific activities can be summarized in the design and development of specialized biological databases; the development of applications and tools for data analysis, including clinical data; the optimization of pipelines for the analysis of high-throughput genomic, transcriptomic, and metagenomic data produced by Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies; the creation of bioinformatics web applications/servers; and the application of Computational Intelligence methods to experimental data.
I have participated in numerous national and international research projects and am the author/co-author of over 50 articles published in international journals.
