Nutrigenomics

The ITB nutrigenomics research team investigates the molecular interplay between nutrition and gene regulation to better understand diet–health relationships. By performing transcriptomic analyses of peripheral blood cells, the group assesses gene expression changes induced by specific dietary patterns or nutrients, providing insights into how nutrition modulates biological pathways and influences individual health outcomes. These activities support the development of evidence-based nutritional strategies and personalized nutrition approaches.
