I’m Eva Maria Pinatel, researcher at ITB-CNR in Segrate (Milan) and author of 27 publications cited in more than 1000 research papers (h-index 17). My research activity is based on next generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis and integration covering a wide spectra of its applications ranging from genomics to transcriptomics and epigenomics. My career started studying microRNAs role in tumor progression both in vitro and in silico. Then I moved to the investigation of gene expression control in bacteria following colture media perturbations or during host-pathogen interaction. Finally, I am also involved in the study of epigenetics and genome accessibility, through SAMMY-seq technology application in bacteria and in lymphocytes differentiation.
Research Activities
