I am a CNR Lead Researcher (permanent position at Institute of Biomedical Technologies, Milan) responsible for the Chromatin and Nuclear Architecture laboratory at the National Institute of Molecular Genetics (INGM), Milan (Italy). I have a longstanding interest in studying the role of higher order nuclear structures in regulating gene expression in different models and my actual commitment is to use my expertise to study pathological chromatin remodelling in human diseases.

Exploring the genetic and epigenetic background underlying phenotype’s variability

4f-SAMMY-seq (DNA-seq)

Characterizing bacterial chromosome organization and accessibility

Analysis of chromatin remodeling and epigenetic changes in different biological states

Transcriptomic analysis of cancer cells, stem cells, organoids, human and murine tissues in disease models

Transcriptomic profiling for coding and non-coding RNAs biomarker discovery and regulatory pathway analysis
