I am a PhD student in Experimental Medicine (XLI cycle) at the University of Milan, conducting my research activity at the Genomics unit of ITB-CNR in Dr. Eva Maria Pinatel’s lab. My work explores nuclear architecture and chromatin dynamics across diverse biological contexts, ranging from the study of the prokaryotic life cycle and dormancy to the mechanisms underlying lymphocyte activation dysfunction.
Research Activities
4f-SAMMY-seq (DNA-seq)
Characterizing bacterial chromosome organization and accessibility
Analysis of chromatin remodeling and epigenetic changes in different biological states
Study of the role of tRNA modifications and tRNA-derived fragments in regulating translation to control stem cell self-renewal and differentiation
Development, application and optimization of automated pipelines for the analysis of genomics, epigenomics and transcriptomics data for large-scale studies.
